This camp is designed for students who need a boost of confidence as they enter 8th Grade Pre-Algebra, 8th Grade Algebra 1, or 9th Grade Algebra 1. The camp will meet in Dr. Lamb’s Classroom in the High School building RM 103. This camp will focus on Pre-Algebra topics with extensions into Algebra 1. This camp will allow students to build their confidence through focused attention on basic elements of Pre-Algebra. Students will work on fun, challenging problems in a rewards-based system to help students build their knowledge of Pre-Algebra in order to gain confidence in their mathematics course next year. Dr. Lamb and Coach Taylor are exceptional teachers of mathematics. They have a wealth of mathematical knowledge and experience teaching students of all ages. Students in this camp should leave feeling more confident in their mathematical abilities, which can set them up for success as they move into 8th grade Pre-Algebra, 8th Grade Algebra 1, or 9th Grade Algebra 1 next year.

I give my permission to the camp staff to secure medical attention for my child in case of emergency. I will also allow any photos taken of my camper to be used in future promotions for Grace Community Camps via website or brochures. I release all the staff and Grace Community Church and School from any and all liability.
